Golden milk latte

I’m a huge fan of a golden milk latte and all the healthy benefits that go with it.


Turmeric is a powerful superfood known to boost the body’s antioxidant enzyme activity, aids with digestion, detoxification and even pain-relief.

Combined black pepper (which activates the bioactive compound curcumin and assists with absorption) this golden milk latte is recommended for a delicious post-meal drink.

As curcumin is fat-soluble, it’s recommended to drink with a coconut or oat milk.


Ingredients:

  • Turmeric (organic if possible)

  • Oat Milk (I use Malk brand - gum free!)

  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

  • Cinnamon

  • Agave (to sweeten)


To serve: Cayenne pepper + a drop of agave 🍯
